_-Ross Lovegrove Solar Trees
________________________________________
Solar Trees are the new lamps for furniture designed by Ross Lovegrove. style, design esostenibilità for an innovative product.
These beautiful creations are visible since last October 8 in Vienna during the weekend of Design near the MAK museum (until Oct. 28). A style that blends harmoniously technology, new materials and design. Unmistakable and unique attention to design, masterfully cast in this wonderful product for the furniture urban.
vaguely recall the lights, again for urban, Corona Solar Light, but the work of Lovegrove is more articulate and morphology refers to a stylized tree and a closer contact with nature. The Solar Trees are solar powered and have been produced in collaboration with Sharp Solar (producers of solar panels) and Artemis, a world leader in light-design. Very interesting metaphor for life behind the project: explain how the trees their leaves in the sun to live, so these large "leaves" created by solar panels, catching the light to revive it during the night.
icon of sustainable design and an example of good design, sensitive and respectful of nature. I'd love to see them live.
