WIRELESS MESH NETWORK WIRELESS NETWORK

(wireless mesh networks)

Wireless mesh networking is implemented using a mesh network a wireless local area network.
A mesh network is a network of wireless communication cooperative formed by a large number of nodes that act as receivers, transmitters and repeaters. The concept of cooperative wireless network.
This type of infrastructure is decentralized (there are no central servers, preventing the control of information) relatively inexpensive, highly adaptable and durable, since each node must only send a signal to the maximum until the next node. Nodes act as repeaters to transmit the signal from nodes closer to the peers (nodes equivalent) that are too distant to be reached, so we have a network capable of covering great distances, especially on land rough or otherwise "difficult". Mesh networks are also extremely reliable, as each node is connected to many other nodes. If a node fails in the network, due to hardware problems or any other reason, neighboring nodes are simply seeking other routes to transmit the signal (refer to other nodes). The network capacity can be increased simply by installing additional nodes. The mesh networks may include both fixed and mobile devices.
